Whitehill country park at Paignton
This fairly large site has a few statics for rent and accepts tents, motorhomes, caravans, camper vans and trailer tents. The main tent field is on a slope with very few flat pitches, there is also an electric pylon that runs right across the field. The pitches are numbered and quite close together. The shower block is very basic and fairly small for the site size, however there is another one in the overflow tent field which is tucked away in a corner a fair way from the bar, outdoor swimming pool, shop and takeaway/café, indoor play area, pot wash and reception Security or park wardens are very lax, it has a no noise policy but some campers igored it and nothing was done. The site is dog friendly with a separate dog walking area but sadly dog faeces was left on yhe tent field and near the small child's play area. I personally wouldn't visit again but it may suit families with young children due to the amenities on site. It is near Paignton, Stoke Gabriel and Torquay is a short drive away.

Higher Well farm holiday park
This is a medium sized site with a few static caravans and accepts all tourers, however I didn't notice any hard standing pitches, there is EHU available and most pitches appeared to be flat. It is a pitch where you like site and there is plenty of cover from the established hedges. It is a basic campsite with very clean shower/toilet facilities with hairdryers in both ladies and mens facilities. The pot wash/vegetable preparing is in a purpose built room and there is a laundrette with ironing facilities and the shop/reception area stocks the basic essentials at reasonable prices. During the school holidays there is a secure field specifically for the kids to play in, however there is no built play area. The owners are very friendly and you will see them working hard on a daily basis to keep the site clean and tidy. This site is a great location near Stoke Gabriel, Paignton, Totnes and Brixham, one thing to note is that it is situated along some very narrow country roads. Would definitely recommend for people who are looking for a quiet site. www.higherwellfarmholidaypark.co.uk

Cornishcoasts. A smallish private campsite . It caters for tents and motor homes and has static caravans. A warm welcome comes from the owners , who will go out of the way to help you if needed. The site has hot free showers , toilets and dishwashing facilities all undercover.washing machine and dryer are also available. Pitches are unlimited, some on a very minor slope , but nothing to worry about. There's a shop onsite ,but I do believe they are building a larger shop with a cafe I think .free wifi is available in the covered area at the top of the site also there is free kids games there too. A small park will keep the kids happy The site it's self is a 5 min drive outside bude and about 2 mins drive away from the nearest beach . It's an excellent base for exploring the coast and countryside . Boscastle is a 30 min drive away .

Headleywood I large campsite where you pick your own pitch and they are unlimited. There are several areas of the park you can camp in . It boasts a clubhouse where serve table meals and it does takeaway too. The facility are good and showers are ok , but the lights are motion activated and bit of a pain.. there are toilet and shower facilities are dotted around the site. A small kids park is next the clubhouse too. There is a shop selling the usual stuff also a second hand shop selling loads of camping and caravan related products . The site is a 10 min drive from the beach down country lanes .dogs are welcome at this site . It has a small animal zoo , but I never visited it .
